Tivadar Košut
è nato nel 1947 a Novi Bečej. Durante gli ultimi anni del secolo scorso si è trasferito in Ungheria.
Ha cominciato a dipingere nel 1967 come membro del gruppo Village di Novi Bečej. Dal momento che non c'è mai stato alcun contatto tra il gruppo e lui ha deciso di operare in modo individuale. Tranquillo per carattere, riservato e taciturno, ha aspettato pazientemente che il pubblico si accorgesse di lui. Quando questo è successo, i suoi dipinti hanno avuto molti ammiratori in tutta la Serbia e in Europa in particolare. Ispirato dalla Bibbia, il fiume Tisa e il circo Medrano, dipinse tutta una serie di immagini di questi temi. Indipendentemente dall'argomento, il suo stile è fondamentalmente soggettivo, come nel suo atteggiamento verso ciò che lo circonda, che vede e le sue esperienze. He began painting in 1967 as a member of the Village of Novi Bečej. Since there was never any contact between the group and he decided to work individually. Quiet by nature, reserved and taciturn, he waited patiently for the audience to notice him. When this has happened, his paintings have had many admirers throughout Serbia and Europe in particular. Inspired by the Bible, the river Tisa and the Circus Medrano, he painted a series of images of these issues. Regardless of the subject, his style is fundamentally subjective, as in his attitude to his surroundings, he sees and experiences.
